Building secure, resilient, and automated cloud infrastructure on AWS using modern Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD practices.
Hi, I'm Silias Odion Adodo
I'm a Cloud & DevOps Engineer based in Abuja, Nigeria, focused on designing, automating, and securing cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. I work across the full stack of modern DevOps: Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, container orchestration with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, and CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions with security built in from the start using IAM, OIDC, KMS, and Secrets Manager rather than bolted on after the fact. My portfolio work includes Project Bedrock, a production-oriented Kubernetes platform for retail microservices on AWS, and Project Fortress, which hardened that platform with DevSecOps practices: OIDC-based CI/CD authentication (no long-lived credentials), centralized secrets management, least-privilege access controls, and reusable Terraform modules across networking, EKS, RDS, and more. I'm trained through AltSchool Africa's Cloud Engineering program and hold a Cloud Computing certificate from Hagital Consulting, with the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam scheduled. I care about building infrastructure that's reliable, secure, and maintainable — and about fixing root causes, not just symptoms.
Right now, I'm looking for a Cloud or DevOps role where I can contribute to real production environments, continue improving my engineering skills, and grow as part of a strong technical team.
